J&K Custom Homes is a family business that has built a reputation for building quality new construction luxury homes in desirable Mason and West Chester neighborhoods such as The Heritage Club, Reserves of Providence and Four Bridges. J&K enables their clients to take an active role in the design of their dream home and prides themselves on client satisfaction.
Jim McVicker and Michelle Moran are the co-founders of J&K.
Jim is President of J&K and intimately involved in the daily operations of the company. After retiring from over 30 years in the corporate finance arena, Jim has taken his years of professional experiences and applied them to the management and operational standards of the company we see today. Jim is involved in all aspects of the business and has developed a sharp eye for design over the years.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Michelle has extensive knowledge of the design and construction process and the myriad of decisions associated with the final outcome that fits the client’s lifestyle. Michelle leverages her consulting and project management background to assist the clients in a professional and well managed building process. Her hands on philosophy guides clients through the decision making process focusing them on meeting deadlines, adhering to allowances and incorporating elements to make your house your dream home.
The team also consists of our construction manager, who has more than 20 years of experience in residential construction. He oversees daily construction activities from commencement of construction to completion of warranty work. Client meetings and walk-throughs are held frequently on-site and he is very responsive to any questions that arise in the process.
J&K engages an award winning architect, Ken Bowerman (Kenneth R. Bowerman, Architect, Inc.). Ken brings our clients’ ideas and dreams to paper. Ken has been offering custom residential architectural services for many years now and has designed many award winning homes in the Cincinnati Home Builder's Homearama.
