Billed as the nation's oldest luxury home showcase, Cincinnati's Homearama is heading for the trees. Homearama 2027 will be staged at Oakridge Estates, a brand-new community taking shape at OH-48 and Oakridge Drive in Goshen Township, minutes from downtown Loveland. Thirty-two homesites. One spring-fed creek. A pond anchoring the center of it all. Produced by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati for more than six decades, the showcase reaches its 64th edition next year, with show dates expected to run August 28 through September 12, 2027.
Why Build at Oakridge Estates?
Acreage, mostly. Homesites at Oakridge Estates start at 0.92 acres and climb past 3, well beyond the typical suburban parcel. What does the extra ground actually change? Nearly everything a floor plan is allowed to do. Wings can stretch. Garages can turn sideways. A pool stops being a negotiation with the setback line.
Then there is the land itself. Mature hardwoods shade most of the 32 lots, a rarity in new construction, where communities tend to begin as bare farm fields. The spring-fed creek cuts through the property on its way past the central pond, and the premium perimeter sites back up to woods rather than a neighbor's fence.
Schools and logistics hold up their end too. The community sits in the Goshen Local School District, with downtown Loveland's restaurants, shops, and the Little Miami Scenic Trail a few minutes away. Commuters keep quick access to Route 50 and the Interstate 275 loop. Quiet, but not remote. That balance helps explain why the show keeps circling this corner of the region: The Estates at Bothe Farms, the 2026 site, sits less than five miles from downtown Loveland, and Oakridge Estates lands even closer.
A Builder With Homearama History
J&K Custom Homes, a Cincinnati custom home builder based in West Chester, has been part of the Homearama story for years. The Hampton, a J&K showpiece, took home the People's Choice award at Homearama 2019. The company went on to build at The Reserves at Stone Pillars Farm, the 2024 show site, where its final four homesites are still available. Bothe Farms followed in 2026.
Why does that history matter at Oakridge? Show homes are pressure tests. Thousands of visitors walk through, judging every stair rail and tile line, and the People's Choice ballot box does not care about excuses. Builders who keep coming back tend to be the ones whose work holds up under that kind of traffic.
Will J&K be on the 2027 builder roster? That announcement is still ahead, and this page will be updated as lot selections and lineups are finalized. Families considering a custom build at Oakridge Estates, or on land of their own nearby, can reach the J&K team through the contact page to talk sites, timing, and design.
